RSI gets plenty of international traffic. Users have been complaining that the site is slow. We had to create a design that was quick to load (less graphical) and aesthetically pleasing. The old site also had many usability issues.

In reworking the navigation and information architecture to address the usability problems, we introduced the “Programme Guide” which could be viewed alphabetically, by genre and by airtime. We also added the RSI Audio Player to help users quickly tune into whatever is on air or replay archived broadcasts.

The new site isn’t launched yet. It is being implemented by the client’s internal technology team. You can still visit the old site at http://www.rsi.sg
