In the last couple of months, we’ve had our heads buried in developing content (writing and editing) for the F&B industry in Singapore. What kind of content? Laws, regulations, licences, permits, etc. relating to the F&B industry.

Scouring and collating information from different Government agenices has been very challenging and we really do not envy businesses who have to do it on their own.

On top of that, we have had to make sure we:

• follow the golden rules of web writing
• keep styling consistent
• fit the content into the information architecture
• work within the limits of the content management system

Let’s hope that the content we have developed will be really useful for businesses in the F&B industry. Earlier this year, we conducted user research - focus groups and surveys - to get an idea on the Government content that they need. So we shouldn’t be too far off the mark.
