Go underwater with your digital camera
July 24th, 2001Divers, wakeboarders, water skiers and other sea sports fanatics can now bring their Canon Digital IXUS 300, Powershot A10 or Powershot A20 with them when going into the water.
These three cameras have optional transparent waterproof cases that allow you to keep your cameras high and dry while submerged 30m underwater. Now you can snap pictures of those beautiful sea creatures under the sea. From corals to sea cucumbers to blue starfishes, these sea inhabitants may escape capture from their predators but not your Canon digital camera.
The casing is designed with a strong acrylic exterior to protect your camera and, at the same time, keep the camera and all its features visible. The O-ring seals ensure keep the camera safe from water and dust so that you can handle your digital camera without fretting and fussing over it.
All the controls of the camera have matching brightly colour buttons on the casing for easy access even in those poor lighting conditions underwater.
The casings are available at all Canon authorised dealers and retail at S$369 each.
