FAQs

1. How many participants are there per workshop?

To keep the workshop interactive and participatory, we generally work with a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 20 people.

2. What is the minimum/maximum number of officers per agency that can attend?

During the workshop, you’ll be assessing your own website so we recommend that you come with at least one other person from your agency. If you can only come alone, we’ll partner you with officers from another agencies.

There isn’t any maximum number per agency as long as your group fits within the maximum of 20 participants per workshop.

3. Is the Framework workshop similar to the earlier iGov seminars and workshops?

No, the Framework workshops are different. Targeted at officers who manage or make decisions for the website, participants will:

  • assess their websites using our Self-Assessment Tool
  • improve their website content using our Content Best Practices & Guidelines
  • identify website attributes to improve on using our Website Scorecard
  • plan and prioritise their next steps to improve their websites

Our earlier seminars and workshops only shared the qualitative and quantitative research findings from iGov Thrust 2.1 with participants.

4. What is this iGov project about?

The Framework workshops come under iGov Thrust 2.1. Also known as the E-Information Maturity Framework Study, iGov Thrust 2.1 aims to empower and enable agencies to provide and deliver quality content online.

Digital Boomerang was engaged by the Ministry of Information, Communication and the Arts (MICA) and Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA) to develop the Scorecard, Framework and Best Practices & Guidelines to improve how information is provided online using a customer-centric approach.
