Who is a “real user”?
A real user is someone who represents your website’s audience. For example, if your website is targetted at teens aged 15-17, you should try and get someone in that demographic group to test your website.
We will work closely with you to determine who to recruit for testing by looking at your users’ demographics, webographics and psychographics.
Some Demographics for consideration:
- age
- gender
- occupation
- income
- education
Some Webographics for consideration:
- novice/advanced user
- typical usage of the internet
- web browser used
- screen resolution
Some Psychographics for consideration:
- double income no kids (DINKS)
- “trysumers”
- achievers
- survivors
